Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) was an Italian Renaissance polymath whose interests spanned invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. He is widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.
Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) was a Dutch post-impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade, he produced approximately 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of which date from the last two years of his life.
Pablo Picasso (1881–1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer who spent most of his adult life in France. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century and co-founded the Cubist movement. Picasso is known for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, including the invention of constructed sculpture and the co-invention of collage.
